- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Today I was reluctant to go in for my regularly scheduled dental check up since I knew my hygienist was on maternity leave. I decided to go in anyway and had a sub working on my teeth. Everything was okay until it came time to flossing my bottom teeth where I have a permanent retainer. I've never had a hygienist pull so hard on it in my life. Most of the time they work around it and are very careful not to put too much force on it. I don't know what she was thinking but she yanked so hard that it snapped in my mouth. I was then moved me into another room where Dr. Deese came in and examined it. No apology or "hey we'll cover any charges for replacing it". All he said was "that's life. you just have to deal with it. go see your orthodontist". Seriously. He took it out and didn't even clean up the residue around the retainer. Then they had the audacity of asking me when the next best time for a checkup would be. I initially chose them because of their 5 star review but after the unprofessionalism and carelessness I experienced today, I will never recommend them to anyone.September 09, 2017by Nick Mondaini
